i don't disagree that the map timer is the root cause but if i had the choice i would rather play endless matches of the things which make TF2C unique, not a map ive played a billion times already
this is a great point because it directly contradicts an argument ive seen many anti-verification posters make. they claim that verification was the reason the game lost so many players, but i mean... every game starts out with an inflated playercount and then drops off sharply. frankly i'm...
i considered posting this in cvberdemon's thread but i thought it would derail too much so i decided to make my own
i wanted to collect more opinions on server verification from a place which isn't steam, where it has been receiving some very mixed reactions. personally i think it's a good...
there are no good upgrade paths from a 9400f because the 9000 series is the best your socket (LGA1151) can handle. you're better off with a whole new computer at this point. get something like a 5700x3d
you're right, but i think VIP is different because of the presence of the civilian. in every other mode the defending side can win just by winding down the clock, but killing the VIP is why the mode exists in the first place
your own argument could be said about trainyard, too. is there any...

i do like trainyard's map design a lot, and the one-life VIP gimmick does indeed keep up a fast pace, but it's such an extraordinarily punishing gimmick that puts way too much strain on the guy playing VIP
i mean i hate 30-minute-long 2fort stalemate slop as well, but i also don't like arena and...
hello, i had a question regarding server management
my girlfriend is a moderator for the TF2C mechtech servers. she approached me today about a potential concern regarding ban evasion that she and her fellow mechtech admins were discussing. like vaultF4, they use sourcebans for keeping track of...
i love that all of this parallels the scene in the double down trailer where medic is deciding how to build the rejuvenator, especially the "NEED FRAME FOR MAIN ASSEMBLY" scrawled on his chalkboard as he turns to see a large metal pot
it's such a shame we'll never see this level of care and...
